February 2018

Dear Friends in Mission,

We wanted to send out a short newsletter with your 2017 income tax receipts, and give you a few updates on ministry news from India.  First of all, we want to express our thanks for your support of Far Corners Ministry in 2017!  Many of you have supported various aspects of the ministry directly, while others have given so that friends or family would be able to answer the call to travel to India on a short term mission trip.  Both of these things are a vital part of FCM as we seek to support the growing church in North East India and Nepal, improve the quality of everyday life for the needy, and provide opportunities for Canadians to interact directly with fellow believers in another part of God’s family.

During our last trip in November, Ginny and three ladies from Nova Scotia led two women’s retreats and visited various ministry projects.  It was a time of great blessing as they shared together.  They were also very privileged to attend the opening of a new church for a growing congregation.  The construction of this church was one of the large projects undertaken by FCM in 2017.

In just two weeks, I will be heading to Nepal with three others, where we will conduct retreats for pastors in two locations.  There has been an increased interest in this training, and higher numbers of pastors asking to attend.  Therefore we would ask you to prayerfully consider sending an extra gift to help with these costs.  Just $25.00 covers the cost for one pastor to attend.  This is an ongoing need as we look ahead to pastoral retreats in India in November 2018.  Our partners in India and Nepal are blest with great vision for God’s work, and our desire is to provide the means for them to respond to His leading.  You can also give to our Gift Catalogue projects all through the year by visiting www.farcornersministry.org/giftcatalogue

As always, please know that your prayer and ministry support is very valuable, and continues to encourage us as we work for His purposes in India!

Yours in the Lord’s service,

Rev. Dr. Shant Manuel,

Executive Director, Far Corners Ministry
